1. The Paintbrush tool (B) draws freehand and calligraphic lines, as well as art and patterns on paths.
2. The Blob Brush Tool (Shift-B)draws paths that automatically expand and merge calligraphic brush paths that share the same color and are adjacent in stacking order.
3. The Mesh tool (U) creates and edits meshes and mesh envelopes.
4. The Gradient tool (G) adjusts the beginning and ending points and angle of gradients within objects, or applies a gradient to objects.
5. The Eyedropper tool (I) samples and applies color, type, and appearance attributes, including effects, from objects.  
6. The Live Paint Bucket tool (K) paints faces and edges of Live Paint groups with the current paint attributes.
7. The Live Paint Selection (Shift-L)tool selects faces and edges within Live Paint groups.
   The Measure tool measures the distance between two points.

How to Create A New Document in Illustrator, with Video Tutorial .

Create a new document .

A document is the space in which you create artwork. You start a new document by choosing a new document profile based on your intended output.Each profile includes preset values for size, color mode, units, orientation, transparency, and resolution.All use one artboard, by default.

Documents profiles:

 Welcome screen

• Print Document.
• Web Document.
• Mobile And Devices Document .
• Video And Film Document .
• Basic CMYK Document .
• Basic RGB Document .

 Create a new document from the Welcome screen, or by using File > New . 

1. Type a name for your document. 
2. Specify the number of artboards for your document, and their order .
3. Specify the default both horizontal and vertical spacing between artboards. 
4. Specify the default size, units of measure, and layout for all artboards.
5. Specify the position of the bleed along each side of the artboard. 

Note: You can change these settings after you create the document by choosing File > Document Setup and specifying new settings .

Create a new document from a template .

1  Do one of the following:
   •Choose File > New From Template.
   •Choose File > New. In the New Document dialog box, click Templates.
   •In the Welcome screen, click From Template in the Create New list.
2  In the New From Template dialog box, locate and select a template, and click New.

Islamic New Year رأس السنه الهجريه

It is the day that marks the beginning of a new Islamic calendar year, and is the day on which the year count is incremented. The first day of the year is observed on the first day of Muharram, the first month in the Islamic calendar.

Islamic calendar  or Hijri calendar

It is a lunar calendar consisting of 12 lunar months in a year of 354 or 355 days. It is used to date events in many Muslim countries (concurrently with the Gregorian calendar), and used by Muslims everywhere to determine the proper day on which to celebrate Islamic holy days and festivals.

The first year was the year during which the emigration of the Islamic prophetMuhammad from Mecca to Medina, known as the Hijra, occurred.

Being a purely lunar calendar, it is not synchronized with the seasons. With an annual drift of 11 or 12 days, the seasonal relation repeats about every 33 Islamic years.

The Islamic months are named as follows in Arabic:

1 - Muḥarram
2 - Ṣafar
3 - Rabīʿ I
4 - Rabīʿ II
5 - Jumādā I
6 - Jumādā II
7 - Rajab
8 - Sha~ba~n
9 - Ramaḍān ( The fasting month ) Ramadan is the most venerated month of the Hijri calendar, during which Muslims fast between dawn and sunset.
10 - Shawwāl
11 - Dhū al-Qaʿda
12 - Dhū al-Ḥijja ( the month of the annual Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca, the Hajj.)

The sacred months 

Are the months in which fighting was traditionally ( before Islam ) forbidden.After Islam the fighting during those months is forbidden also as an important religious teachings and orders .

Those four months are Dhū al-Qaʿda ,  Dhū al-Ḥijja ,and Muḥarram  ,and  Rajab.

وهو اليوم الذي يوافق بداية العام الهجري الجديد

و تبدأ السنه الهجريه بأول أيام شهر الله المحرم

التقويم الهجرى أو التقويم الاسلامى  

وهو تقويم قمري يتكون من 12 شهرا في السنة القمرية و354 أو 355 يوما 

يتم استخدامها لتأريخ الأحداث في بلدان إسلاميه كثيرة (بالتزامن مع التقويم الغريغوري)و يستخدمها المسلمون في كل مكان لتحديد اليوم الصحيح لممارسه الشعائرو الإحتفالات الدينيه لديهم   

يبدأ التعداد من السنة الأولى لهجرة الرسول محمد صلى الله عليه وسلم من مكه الى المدينه 

و لكونها تقويم قمرى بحت فهى غير متزامنه مع المواسم و تقل عن السنه الشمسيه بمقدار 11 أو 12 يوما و بهذا يتكرر تزامن المواسم و المناسبات و التواريخ العربيه مع الجريجورى كل 33 سنه عربيه

الأول - المحرم

الثالث - ربيع أول 

الرابع - ربيع ثان

الأشهر الحرم

هى الأشهر التى يحظر و يمنع فيها القتال كعاده قبل الإسلام و اصبحت امر محرم دينيا بعد ظهور الإسلام و هى ثلاثة اشهر متتابعه و شهر مفرد 

الثلاثة اشهر المتتابعه تبدأ بشهر شوال ثم ذو القعده و ذو الحجه 

اما الشهر المفرد هو شهر رجب

A forest also referred to as a wood or the woods .It is an area with a high density of trees. A forest is an area of land with many trees. Many animals need forests to live and survive. Forests are very important and can be found all over the World. Many forests are being cut down for houses to be built because of overpopulation. This cutting down of forests is called deforestation and it is causing damage to the natural habitat of animals. Even roads have been built for the peoples to pass through the forest to reach their destination. People have gotten rid of forest to build towns cities, farms, factories and other things that we will use.

Forests can be found in all regions capable of sustaining tree growth, at altitudes up to the tree line, except where natural fire frequency or other disturbance is too high, or where the environment has been altered by human activity. 

The tree line is the edge of the habitat at which trees are capable of growing. Beyond the tree line, they are unable to grow because of inappropriate environmental conditions (usually cold temperatures, insufficient air pressure, or lack of moisture) 

I tried to imagine the forest, and designed that picture to show what is in my mind .I collected some trees and plants like grass .I added also some animals like the zebra and some birds. I liked the view of the butterflies so I added some also. I collected all of that in an art work around a nice small house in an artistic way as what I imagined. I put that artwork in on frame.

 من المعلوم ان الغابات هى ارض ذات كثافه عاليه من الاشجار و الحيوانات 

حاولت ان اتخيل الغابات فرسمتها كما ترون اضفت بعض الاشجار مع الاعشاب والطيور مع بعض الحيوانات مثل الحمار الوحشى الذى ربما يتواجد هناك.و جمعت كل هذه الاشياء و الكائنات حول بيت صغير اشبه بالكوخ ليتناغم مع ما حوله .محاولتهً أن تكون لوحه فنيه معبره عما تخيلته و أرجو ان تكون رقيقه كذلك.

Eyes are organs that detect light, and convert it to electro-chemical impulses in neurons.In higher organisms the eye is a complex optical system which collects light from the surrounding environment; regulates its intensity through a diaphragm; focuses it through an adjustable assembly of lenses to form an image; converts this image into a set of electrical signals; and transmits these signals to the brain, through complex neural pathways that connect the eye, via the optic nerve, to the visual cortex and other areas of the brain.The simplest "eyes", such as those in microorganisms, do nothing but detect whether the surroundings are light or dark, which is sufficient for the entrainment of circadian rhythms.
From more complex eyes, retinal photosensitive ganglion cells send signals along the retinohypothalamic tract to the suprachiasmatic nuclei to effect circadian adjustment.

Types of eyes
There are ten different eye layouts .Eye types can be categorized into "simple eyes", with one concave photoreceptive surface, and "compound eyes", which comprise a number of individual lenses laid out on a convex surface. Note that "simple" does not imply a reduced level of complexity or acuity.
It will be so long and complicated to write the types .

Eye color 
Eye color is a polygenic phenotypic character and is determined by the amount and type of pigments in the eye's iris.Humans and other animals have many phenotypic variations in eye color, as blue, brown, gray, green, and others.
The genetics of eye color are complicated, and color is determined by multiple genes. 
Three main elements within the iris contribute to its color: the melanin content of the iris pigment epithelium, the melanin content within the iris stroma, and the cellular density of the iris stroma.In eyes of all colors, the iris pigment epithelium contains the black pigment, eumelanin.
Eye colors can range from the most common color, brown, to the least common, green.Eye colors range from the darkest shades of brown to the lightest tints of blue .

Changes in eye color 
In all populations, children are most commonly born with unpigmented eyes.
Changes (lightening or darkening) of eye colors during puberty, early childhood, pregnancy, and sometimes after serious trauma (like heterochromia) do represent cause for plausible argument to state that some eyes can or do change, based on chemical reactions and hormonal changes within the body.

العين هي شبكة كروية وقطر عين الإنسان البالغ يصل إلى 2.5 سم تقع العين في مقدمة الجمجمة محمية داخل محجر العظمي، والعين قادرة على التحرك داخل المحجر بصورة حرة بمساعدة جهاز معقد من العضلات الطولية والعرضية المحيطة بالعين داخل المحجر.و في منطقة الحاجبين يبرز عظم الجمجمة لحماية العين من الاصابات الخارجية ومعروف ان للعين 6 عضلات خاصة تحركها 

العين هي عضو يلتقط الضوء الذي تعكسه الأشياء، وهي المسؤولة عن الإبصار. وهي عبارة عن مستقبل حسي يتفاعل مع الضوء الصادر من الشيء المريء أو المنعكس منه ويقوم عضو(الشبكية) في العين بتحويل هدا الضوء لسيالة عصبية التي تنقل عبر الاعصاب ومن تم نحو الباحة البصرية الموجودة في الدماغ

Lotus Flowers with an Illustrator Card Design زنبق الماء الأزرق او زهور اللوتس

Lotus flower has often been described as the most exquisite wishes of the Mother Nature for the mankind. 

The Meaning Of The World Lotus

Lotus flowers have been influential in cultures across the world from ancient times until today,
from ancient Egypt and India to all across Asia. They have been associated with the human soul, gods and goddesses and featured in stories and legends.  
To the ancient Egyptians, a lotus bud was a symbol of rebirth and fertility. It closes in the evening and falls to the water, but in the morning it opens and is lifted above the surface.Its behavior emulates that of the sun. Because of this rising and setting, it is also a symbol of death and rebirth . 

The lotus( The blue water lily) was commonly used in art as a symbol of Upper Egypt. It was combined with  the long stems papyrus flower (the symbol of Lower Egypt) as a representation of the unification of the two lands ( Upper and Lower Egypt).It  was shown throughout Egypt in tombs and temples to symbolize the union of Upper and Lower Egypt, but the blue water lily had a much deeper significance to the Egyptian people.

The god of the blue water lily was Nefertem, a god not just linked to the sun but to beautification and healing.It was he who brought a water lily to the sun god Ra, to help ease the suffering of his aging body. The perfume of this flower was not only pleasing to the Egyptians, but they saw it as healing as well .Scenes show women holding the water lily and people being offered the flower at parties, smelling its divine fragrance. Some people today believe that the Egyptians used this plant as a narcotic both for its healing qualities and as a recreational drug when soaked in wine, though this is a hotly debated topic.

The blue water lily was possibly also a symbol of sexuality -  the flower "has a sort of Viagra effect". Women were wooed with the blue water lily.

The flower wasn't just used at parties, but it was used at funerals.Tutankhamen's innermost gold coffin had blue water lily petals scattered over it along with a few other floral tributes.The Egyptians looked forward to their souls coming to life "like a water lily reopening", thinking that the deceased died as the water lily closed awaiting opening with the morning sun. The Book of the Dead has a spell to allow the deceased to transform into one of these flowers.
 
As a general The Lotus flower basically symbolizes the clarity of heart as well as the mind. In other words the Lotus flower represents strength, good luck, long life as well as honor and respect. Some scholars have even talked of the lotus flower being a universal representation of the spiritual presence in human lives. 


The Appearance:
 In Egypt, two native species of lotus grew, the white lotus and the blue lotus. A third type, the pink lotus was introduced to the country from Persia during the Late period. All three species were depicted in Egyptian art the pink lotus showed up in Hellenistic artworks, however the sacred blue lotus was the flower most commonly used and the one depicted in the hieroglyph. 

طالما ما وصفت زهور اللوتس بانها رمز للامنيات الرائعه والرومانسيه الحالمه

معنى زهرة اللوتس 

كانت و مازالت زهرة اللوتس صاحبة تأثيرا في الثقافات في جميع أنحاء العالم من العصور القديمه و حتى يومنا هذا وخاصه عند المصريين القدماء و الهنود و تقريبا كل الآسيويين لارتباطهم بالروح و الآلهه و الأساطير 

عند المصريين القدماء كان برعم الزهره يرمز الى الخصوبه و الى ولادة جديده وهذا بسبب الطبيعه الخلابه للزهره ففى الليل تغلق الزهره اوراقها ونهبط الى مخدعها تحت سطح الماء فى النهر اما فى الصباح الناكر مع شروق الشمس تخرج الزهره من جديد من تحت الماء وتفتح اوراقها مستبشره باليوم الجديد و لهذا كانت رمزا للتفاؤل و العوده للحياه بعد الموت كما هو فى الاستيقاظ بعد النوم و قد شابه سلوك زهره اللوتس الشمس من حيث الزهورنهارا و الاختفاء ليلا 

زهرة اللوتس أو زنبق الماء الأزرق كان يشيع استخدامها في الفن باعتباره رمزا لمصر العليا-صعيد مصر حاليا- ولكن بعد توحيد القطرين الشمالى و الجنوبى اتحدت زهرة اللوتس مع زهرة البردى طويلة الساق لتكون رمزا موحدا لمصر القديمه ولكن كان زنبق الماء الأزرق دلالة أعمق بكثير للشعب المصرى والاقرب الى قلوبهم 

لم يكن عطر هذه الزهره مدعاة للسرور بالنسبه للمصرى القديم فقط وانما كان سببا للشفاء كذلك 

وهناك لوحات قديمه تظهر نساء يقدمن اللوتس للناس و آخرين يشتمون عطرها 

 يعتقد بعض الناس اليوم ان المصريين القدماء قد استعملوا هذا النبات كمهدئ او مخدر بسبب قدراته العلاجيه 

لم تستعمل زهرة اللوتس فى الحفلات فقط ولكن استعملت فى الجنائز ايضا عند المصريين القدماءفقد احتوى التابوت الداخلى لتوت عنخ آمون على بتلات زنبق الماء الأزرق مع بعض الزهور الأخرى فقد اعتقد المصريون القدماء فى عودة الروح الى جسد المتوفى بعد الدفن تشابها مع زهرة اللوتس 

وبصفه عامه فان زهرة اللوتس ترمز الى الصفاء فى النفس و القلب والعقل كما ترمز الى القوة، وحسن الحظ، و طول العمر، فضلا عن الشرف والاحترام 

وكان لبعض علماء اللوتس راى اعم و اروع فهم يعتقدون انها التمثيل العالمي للوجود .

She was originally the ancient local goddess of the city of Dep ,which became part of the city that the Egyptians named Per-Wadjet, House of Wadjet, and the Greeks called Buto. She was said to be the patron and protector of Lower Egypt and upon unification with Upper Egypt, the joint protector and patron of all of Egypt with the "goddess" of Upper Egypt.

Mothers Day is celebrated in several country across the globe,but it varies .Most countries celebrate Mothers Day on second Sunday in the Month of May.In Egypt they celebrate it on March 21 n many countries the way Mothers Day is celebrated varies and is quite different from the manner in which Mothers Day is celebrated in US. But what is more important than the date and fashion of celebration is the feeling behind the festival. Hurghada الغردقه - مصر

Hurghada is a city in the Red Sea Governorate of Egypt. It is a main tourist center and second largest city (after Suez) in Egypt located on the Red Sea coast.Hurghada stretches for about 36 kilometres (22 mi) along the seashore, and it does not reach far into the surrounding desert. 

Hurghada was founded in the early 20th century, and until a few years ago, remained a small fishing village. But today, it has gone on to become the foremost tourist resort of the Red Sea coast and an international center for aquatic sports. If it takes place in or on the water you can do it here, like windsurfing, sailing, deep-sea fishing, swimming, but, above all, snorkeling and diving. The unique underwater gardens offshore are some of the finest in the world, justifiably famous amongst divers. The warm waters here are ideal for many varieties of rare fish and coral reefs, which may also be observed through glass bottom boats.

 اكتسبت الغردقة اسمها من شجرة الغردق، كما هي عادة تسمية الأماكن (و خصوصا الصحراوية) بأسماء النباتات المنتشرة فيها أو الأشجار الميزة 

نشأت الغردقة في أوائل القرن العشريــن كعباره عن وديان صحراويه ، يسكنها بدو مصرييـن يعملون في الصيد والبداوة من عرب الرشنديه وجهينه القادمين من الجزيره العربيه والعبابده على ساحل البحر الاحمر وبـدأ نموهـا باكتشــاف النفط في تلك المنطقة سنة 1913 إلا أن طفرة حدثت في أوائل ثمانينيات ثمانينيات القرن عندما بدأت تُعرف كمنطقة جاذبة لهواة الغطس، وتسارع نموها في العقدين التاليين لتصبح أحد أهم المدن السياحية في مصر. وكانت مدينة الغردقة تنقسم إلى ثلاثة أحياء رئيسية: حي السقالة (الميناء) جنوب المحافظة وهو الذي كان يضم أغلب السكان العاملين بالصيد ؛ وحي الدهار وهو الذي كان يضم مبنى المحافظة والجهات الحكومية الأخرى والسوق التجاري ؛ وحي الأحياء شمالا وهي منطقة منعزلة يقطنها السكان الذين كان يعمل معظمهم في المعهد القومي لعلوم البحار والمصايد الذي تم إنشاؤه في 1930 أو مركز الشباب المجاور للمعهد

Sharm el-Sheikh شرم الشيخ

Sharm el-Sheikh is one of the most popular tourist places in the Arab world. But there are also some very good reasons to visit it if you are not the common tourist, who likes to lie on the beach all day. It is one of the finest diving spots in the world and a trip into the desert is an unforgettable adventure. 

Sharm el-Sheikh is a city situated on the southern tip of the Sinai Peninsula, in South Sinai Governorate, Egypt, on the coastal strip along the Red Sea. Its population is approximately 35,000 (2008). It is popular with package holiday makers and divers.

Its Name 
Sharm el-Sheikh is sometimes called the "City of Peace", referring to the large number of international peace conferences that have been held there.It is also transliterated as Sharm ash- Shaykh and popularly known simply as "Sharm".It means bay of the Sheikh.

 Its History and Geography 
Sharm el-Sheikh is on a promontory overlooking the Straits of Tiran at the mouth of the Gulf of Aqaba
About 40 years ago, Sharm el-Sheikh was nothing but a small fishing village with about 100 Bedouin citizens,but its strategic importance led to its transformation from a fishing village into a major port .
Sharm el-Sheikh city has been subdivided into five homogeneous centers, namely Nabq, Ras Nusrani, Naama Bay, Umm Sid and Sharm El Maya[ Na'ama Bay part of the city is the center of nightlife and dining: most of Sharm's clubs, cafes, restaurants and shops are here].There is also an airport in Sharm el-Sheikh. Sharm el-Sheikh Airport is the largest in the Sinai, and receives plane-loads of charter tourists daily in the winter high season. The only airline for local flights is Egypt Air .
The land plan shows that the total area of Sharm el-Sheikh is expected to be about 42 square kilometres by the year 2017.



 During the 2011 Egyptian protests, President Hosni Mubarak reportedly went to Sharm el-Sheikh and resigned there on 11 February 2011.

Climate 
The average temperatures during the winter months (November to March) range from 15 to 35 degrees Celsius (59-95°F) and during the summer months (April to October) from 20 to 45 degrees Celsius (68-113°F). The temperature of the Red Sea in this region ranges from 21 to 28 degrees Celsius (70-84°F) over the course of the year. 

Tourism  in Sharm
Sharm el-Sheikh's major industry is foreign and domestic tourism, owing to its dramatic landscape, year-round dry and temperate climate and long stretches of natural beaches. Its waters are clear and calm for most of the year and have become popular for various watersports, particularly recreational scuba diving and snorkeling which some consider to be among the best in the world.There is great scope for scientific tourism with diversity in marine life species; 250 different coral reefs and 1000 species of fish.

Diving
Diving is the main activity in Sharm el-Sheikh. When you dive into the warm water of the Red Sea and leave the remote desert behind, you will enter a world full of life and colors.

مميزاتها 

    تعتبر شرم الشيخ من أحدث مناطق الاستجمام والاسترخاء في العالم، وفي خلال عشر سنوات أصبح فيها أكثر من 150 فندقا  

يستطيع السائح ايضا اختيار مايلائمه من النشاطات المتعدده هناك ركوب الخيل أو لعب التنس، أو ملاهي الأطفال، إلى التزلج على الماء، أو الغطس أو الغوص حيث أصبحت سياحة مراكز الغوص تمثل اليوم نشاطا سياحيا يلقى رواجا كبيرا وبأعداد غير عادية تعكسه زيادة عدد هذه المراكز.

After all of what I had mentioned about Sharm I decided to design an invitation card with its name .That you can fold like a book in the middle .

Valentine's Day يوم الحب

It is an annual commemoration held on February 14 celebrating love,and affection between intimate companions,and friends.

Love You

Valentines Day is a day to express your love, and to celebrate the spirit of love.lovers express their love for each other by presenting flowers,gifts,sweets and also sending greeting cards .The day first became associated with romantic love.
Modern Valentine's Day symbols that have been used over a long period of time, include:

•  The heart-shaped outline,because it was believed that the heart was the seat of all human emotions .
• Roses ,and its red color .The color red is associated with strong emotions .
• Ribbons,scarf or handkerchief.
• Traditional symbols like Cupid,and birds.

 I designed that card to send for everybody in that occasion .

That card is designed with both illustrator and photo shop.

I got the flowers from illustrator and open it in photo shop ,then with the layer style and Type tool option I wrote the word  .

Queen Meresankh III, King Khafra's Wife... with Illustrator lesson.

She is the wife of the pharaoh Khafra and a grand-daughter of the Egyptian pharaoh Khufu.Her   parents were brother and sister[ Hetepheres II and Prince Kawab ].She had married the pharaoh Khafra of the Fourth dynasty of Egypt and bore him four sons and one daughter .

I don't like the dullness of the photo ,It is very pale ,so again I changed the background and adjust the picture that is the way .Just read more.

As I was preparing for the mother's day I found that picture .I fixed it and I felt it is nice for the mother's day as a mother and daughter true picture and story ,so I used it in designing my card .
I fixed it with photo-shop [you can fined that in Arts Of Photos] ,then  I designed the card  with illustrator 

HOW TO DESIGN THE CARD ?

Red Card

I had designed another card for the new year celebration .
It is different than the first one, it is simple and designed with illustrator .It got also some light decorations and it had some transparent layers .It contains a transparent bouquet of flowers surrounded by some decorations  and framed with a simple frame .
All this artwork is designed with the symbol panel of illustrator ,the frame by the brush panel and choose borders to choose the frame and the type tool and I used the wrap text option in the option bar of the text tool.
I just wanted to add  one more card for the group of cards on the blog .

How to Design a Happy New Year Illustrator Card with the Flare Tool?

I just wanted to say happy new year everybody. Hopping good new year for all of us.

How to Design ?

Create Your Own Fonts with Illustrator

You can create your own fonts and type with illustrator,by some tricks. In the diagram you can see that I create four different shapes from the same type. It is easy to do .Just use some illustrator options. If you like that topic, just go for read more. I hope you will find it clear and useful.

HOW TO MAKE THAT ARTWORK?   

Illustrator

Open new illustrator document .

1. Select the Type Tool ,select a simple type of fonts ,and start to write what you like .
2. Select the type with the selection tool .Put the fill color to black and white stroke 2 pt .
3. Go to the Object menu and select  Expand .Object - Expand .
4. Select the type again then go again to the Object menu then choose Path  then choose offset path.. Object-Path -Offset path.. Choose offset=5  , Joins -Miter  and  Miter limit to 7 .
5. Click  OK.
6. Open the stroke panel from the window menu. 

For the type modification number 1  
Nothing  more to add , just repeat the step number 4 to add the thickness you like.


For the type modification number 2
Go to the stroke panel and choose dashed line with align stroke to center with the option dash to 8 and gap to 4.


For the type modification number 3
Do the same ,but put the align stroke to inside.  




For the type modification number 4
Do the same ,but put the align stroke to outside.
