Nondestructive Editing For Your photos With Photoshopتحرير الصور و تعديلها بطرق غير اتلافيه و غير تدميريه بالفوتوشوب

Nondestructive editing allows you to make changes to an image without overwriting the original image data, which remains available in case you want to revert to it. Because nondestructive editing doesn’t remove data from an image, the image quality doesn’t degrade when you make edits.

Ways of Nondestructive editing :

• Working with adjustment layers: Adjustment layers apply color and tonal adjustments to an image without permanently changing pixel values.
• Transforming with Smart Objects: Smart Objects enable nondestructive scaling, rotating, and warping. 
• Retouching on a separate layer: Clone Stamp, Healing Brush, and Spot Healing Brush tools let you retouch non-destructively on a separate layer. Be sure to select Sample All Layers from the options bar (select Ignore Adjustment Layers to ensure that adjustment layers won’t affect the separate layer twice). You can discard unsatisfactory retouching, if necessary.
• Filtering with Smart Filters: Filters applied to Smart Objects become Smart Filters and allow for nondestructive filter effects.
• Masking Layer and vector masks : are nondestructive because you can re-edit the masks without losing the pixels they hide. Filter masks let you mask out the effects of Smart Filters on Smart Object layers. 

• Adjusting variations, shadows, and highlights with Smart Objects: Shadow/Highlight and Variations commands can be applied to a Smart Object as Smart Filters.

• Cropping non-destructively: After you create a cropping rectangle with the Crop tool, select Hide from the options bar to preserve the cropped area in a layer. Restore the cropped area anytime by choosing Image > Reveal All or by dragging the Crop tool beyond the edge of the image. The Hide option is unavailable for images that contain only a background layer.

تحرير الصور بطرق غير إتلافية يسمح لك بإجراء تغييرات على صورة دون الكتابة فوق بيانات الصورة الأصلية، والتي لا تزال متوفرة فإذا كنت تريد أن إستعادة الصوره الأصليه يمكنك هذا. وهذا التحرير الغير تدميري لا يزيل بيانات الصورة و لا يغيرها ،كما أن جودة الصورة لا تتدهور عند إجراء التعديلات.

ملاحظه هامه

أولا و قبل أى شئ احفظ الصوره فى ملف آخر و بإسم آخر فتكون فى مأمن من التلف .

طرق التحرير الغير تدميرى للصور بالفوتوشوب :

أولا :  

العمل مع طبقات التعديل Adjustments Layers:

 طبقات التعديل تقوم تطبيق لون وتعديلات الدرجات اللونية على الصورة من دون تغيير قيم البكسل بطريقه دائمة .

ثانيا :

تحويل الكائنات الى كائنات ذكية Smart Objects:

فالكائنات الذكية تمكن من التحجيم ( تغيير الحجمscaling) ، و الإستداره(rotating) ، والالتواء(warping) , و غيرها بطرق غير تدميريه. 

ثالثا : 

يجب ان يكون التصحيح على طبقة منفصلة : 

مثلا فى حالة استعمال اداة ختم النسخ clone stamp tool، 

و اداة فرشاة المداواة healing brush tool، 

وأداة الفرشاة الفوريه spot healing tool 

تمكنك من تنميق و تهذيب الغير المدمر على طبقة منفصلة. تأكد من تحديد اختر كل الطبقات في شريط الخيارات .

رابعا :

استمعال الفلاتر او المرشحات الذكية smart filters :

إستعمال طبقات الأقنعه (layer mask ) والاقنعة الواقية غير تدميريه لأنه يمكنك إعادة تحرير الأقنعة الواقية من دون أن تفقد البكسلات المخفيه.

خامسا :

استعمال أقنعة المرشحات ( filter mask) .

سادسا :

الاقتصاص الغير مدمر( crop) :

بعد إنشاء مستطيل الاقتصاص بأداة الإقتصاص، حدد إخفاء ( hide)من شريط الخيارات للحفاظ على مساحة الصوره كامله في طبقة فنقوم بإخفائها بدلا من اقتصاصها و فقدها نهائيا .

و هكذا يمكننا استعادة المساحة المقطوعة في أي وقت عن طريق اختيار صورة> الكشف عن جميع ( reveal all)أو عن طريق سحب أداة اقتصاص ما وراء حافة الصورة.

إذا لم كان خيار( hide) غير متوفر فى شريط الخيارات فإعلم انك   تعمل على طبقة الخلفية.

What is the red-eye effect ?
The red-eye effect in photography is the common appearance of red pupils in color photographs of eyes. It occurs when using a photographic flash very close to the camera lens (as with most compact cameras), in ambient low light. The effect appears in the eyes of humans and animals.
The red-eye effect can also be seen when one human observes another when there is a bright light source nearby.




Causes 
Because the light of the flash occurs too fast for the pupil to close, much of the very bright light from the flash passes into the eye through the pupil, reflects off the fundus at the back of the eyeball and out through the pupil. The camera records this reflected light, more simply the light of the flash is reflecting from the retina, which is covered with tiny blood vessels.


The more open the pupils are[ If you use a flash in a dark environment ], the more red eye effect you get in your photos. Red eye is more pronounced in people with light eye color. It is also more pronounced in people with blond or light-red hair and in children.




Red eye is caused by a reflection of the camera flash in the subject’s retina. You’ll see it more often when taking pictures in a darkened room because the subject’s iris is wide open. To avoid red eye, use the camera’s red eye reduction feature. Or, better yet, use a separate flash unit that you can mount on the camera farther away from the camera’s lens.

Tips to reduce red eye effect [ before and


 during taking the picture]

• Use the red-eye reduction capabilities built into many modern cameras.
• Increase the lighting in the room so that the subject's pupils are more constricted.
• Placing the flash away from the camera's optical axis ensures that the light from the flash hits the eye at an oblique angle.
• If possible, avoid taking flash photos in a dark environment. 
• Soften the light.
• Take more than one picture.
•  Use image-editing software, like Photoshop.  

HOW TO REMOVE THE RED EYE EFFECT WITH PHOTOSHOP .

The Red Eye tool removes red eye in flash photos of people or animals.

1. Select the Red Eye tool . (The Red Eye tool is in the same group as the Spot Healing Brush tool . Hold down a tool to display additional tools in the group.)
2. Click in the red eye. If you are not satisfied with the result, undo the correction, set one or more of the following options in the options bar, and click the red eye again:
   

   Pupil Size

    

   Increases or decreases the area affected by the Red Eye tool( brush size ).

   Darken Amount

    

   Sets the darkness of the correction ,in the Option Tool Bar.

ما هو تأثير العين الحمراء؟

 العين الحمراء هو مظهر شائع فى الصور الفوتوغرافيه  الملونه حيث يظهر انسان العين(الحدقه)  باللون الأحمر كما فى الصوره و يحدث عند استخدام فلاش التصوير الفوتوغرافي قريب  جدا من عدسة الكاميرا بينما يكون الضوء المحيط منخفض

يظهر تأثير في عيون الإنسان والحيوان  

ويمكن أيضا أن يظهر تأثير العين الحمراء عندما ينظر شخص فى عين الآخر عندما يكون هناك مصدر للضوء الساطع في مكان قريب

سبب ظهوره

لأن ضوء الفلاش يحدث بسرعة كبيرة للغاية قبل ان يضيق إنسان العين(الحدقه) فيمر الكثير من الضوء الساطع جدا من الفلاش  الى العين فيعكس قاع العين في الجزء الخلفي من مقلة العين و شبكيه العين و ما تحويه من اوعيه دمويه تعكس اللون الأحمر 

و لهذا كلما اشتدت ظلمه المكان زاد إتسعاع الحدقه و زاد ظهور تأثير العين الحمراء فى الصوره

و هذا التأثير أكثر وضوحا في الأشخاص ذوي العيون الفاتحه اللون وكذلك مع الأشخاص ذوى الشعر الأشقر أو الأحمر والأطفال

نصائح لتقليل تأثير العين الحمراء فى الصور قبل و اثناء التصوير

 استخدام إمكانيات الحد من تأثير العين الحمراء في الكاميرات الحديثة* 

* زيادة الإضاءة في الغرفة بحيث تكون حدقة العين اكثر انقباضا * 

* وضع فلاش بعيدا عن المحور الضوئى للكاميرا لكى نضمن أن الضوء الصادر من * 

الفلاش يضرب العين بزاوية مائلة

* إذا كان ذلك ممكنا، تجنب التقاط الصور الفلاش في بيئة مظلمة إذا كانت هناك ضروره *

 استخدم ضوء خافت *

 التقت أكثر من صورة *

* و اخيرا اذا ظهرت العين الحمراء استخدام برامج تحرير الصور مثل فوتوشوب *

Tips for How To Choose Photos For Making A Composite Image With Photoshop[ Blending images with Photoshop] كيف تختار الصور الصالحه للمزج لتكوين صوره مجمعه واحده بالفوتوشوب؟

You may need to add someone or something to your picture to feel that the picture is complete ,or to make a funny ,or imaginary photo like our photo here , so you need to make a composite image .

A composite image is a single image that put together in Photoshop from parts of multiple  photographs .
You should choose photos to go together ,to be matching together as you choose them from your photo collection.The photos should match in tones ,color and sharpness .

The general guide lines and, most important points are

 LIGHTING
If you can take them in studio and adjust light, it will be good.
In the natural light you should fallow that tips.

1. Time of the day .Try to shoot at about the same time of the day .
2. Weather conditions to be similar 
3.  Take care of the direction of light and shadows ,so that the shadows in the photos match  .

COMPOSITION

1. Perspective , the photos should be taken from a similar angle , from up down or right left .
2. Orientation should be similar , both photos should be horizontal or both photos should be vertical .It will faster and less effort and more easy . 
3. Size should be matching also ,but we can adjust the size with Photoshop.

CONTENT

1. Avoid busy backgrounds .
2. Better to have empty space around the part of the picture you like to blend .

قد تحتاج فى يوم ما إلى إضافه شخص او شئ ما إلى صوره فى مناسبه معينه حتى تشعر أن هذه الصوره مكتمله أو ربما تريد اضافه تأثير خيالى أو مضحك للصوره و تستطيع ان تقوم بهذا الفعل بنفسك بإستعمال الفوتوشوب عن طريق عمل صوره مجمعه او مركبه 

الصوره المجمعه أو المركبه 

هى صوره مركبه من عدة صور أو أجزاء من الصور بشكل متجانس و لكى نحصل على نتيجه مرضيه يجب ان تكون الصور متشابهه فى اللون و درجه وضوح وحدة الصور

النقاط يجب علينا مراعاتها    

اولا :الإضاءه 

لوكانت الصور قد اخذت فى استوديو التصوير تكون اسهل لتشابه الإضاءه اما فى حاله الصور المعتاده التى تؤخذ فى العاده على مدار اليوم يجب مراعاة الآتى

 وقت الصوره اى الصباح او المساء أو الغروب مثلاحاول ان تكون الصور فى اوقات متشابهه *

 حاول ان يكون مناخ و طقس الصور متشابه مثل المطر مثلا*

 يجب ان يكون اتجاه الإضاءه و الظل متشابه  حتى يتجانس الظلين معا *

ثانيا :تركيب الصور 

 المنظور أى الإتجاه وزاويه التصوير يجب أن تكون متقاربه مثلا من أسفل إلى اعلى أو العكس أو من اليمين لليسار أو العكس*

 إتجاه الصوره اى الصور الطوليه أو العرضيه من الأفضل أن تكون الصورتين متماثلتين اسهل و أفضل *

 حجم الصوره يجب أن يكون متماثل ايضا و لكن يمكن ضبط الجحم ب التكبير أو التصغيير بالفوتوشوب*

 محتوى الصوره و وضمونها *

حاول إختيار الخلفيه المتشابهه او مراعاة الآتى 

تجنب الخلفيه المزدحمه و إختر خلفيه بسيطه غير معقده 

من الأفضل ان يكون هناك مسافه فارغه حول الجزء المراد اخذه من الصوره  حتى نستطيع فصله بسهوله و دقه 

ارجو ان تكون هذه النقاط مفيده فى اختيار الصور لديكم و سوف اكمل الموضوع تابعونى

Adding Frame to Your Photos With Four Ways

THE FIRST WAY : BY ADDING CANVAS .Please read  Canvas 

THE SECOND WAY : BY USING THE CUSTOM SHAPE TOOL.

• Open the document [the picture ] in Photoshop .
• Select the Custom Shape Tool .
• In the option bar of the tool select the shape ,style and color .
• Draw the frame around your picture 

THE THIRD WAY : WITH THE USE OF THE ACTIONS PANEL.

You can make a photo frame by increasing the canvas size and filling it with a color.

You can also use one of the prerecorded actions to make a styled photo frame. It’s best to do this on a copy of your photo.

1 - Open the Actions panel. Choose Window > Actions.

2 - Choose Frames from the Actions panel menu.

3 - Choose one of the frame actions from the list.

4 - Click the Play Selection button.

The action plays, creating the frame around your photo.

THE FOURTH WAY : WITH THE USE OF THE BRUSH TOOL

• Add a new layer ,then select the Brush Tool .
• Select the shape you like from the menu and choose the size to be suitable for the thickness of the frame  and draw all around the picture .
• In the layers panel select the layer style you like here I had used the Dissolve

You can notice the difference between the two pictures that is the Levels Adjustments 

Levels overview

You use the Levels adjustment to correct the tonal range and color balance of an image by adjusting intensity levels of image shadows, midtones, and highlights. The Levels histogram is a visual guide for adjusting the image key tones .

To open the Levels dialog box do one of the following :

• Click the Levels icon or a Levels preset in the Adjustments panel.
• Choose Layer > New Adjustment Layer > Levels. Click OK in the New Layer dialog box.
• Choose Image > Adjustments > Levels.

Note: Choosing Image > Adjustments > Levels makes direct adjustments to the image layer and discards image information

To adjust the shadows and highlights manually, drag the black and white Input Levels sliders to the edge of the first group of pixels at either end of the histogram.

• To adjust the the black color drag the black head of the slider .
• To adjust the the white color drag the white head of the slider.
• To adjust midtones, use the middle Input slider to make a gamma adjustment.
• You can also use the Auto button to auto adjust the tone of your pictures
• You can delete the whole layer if you do not like the results .
• You can also select the color mode if RGB  or CMYK. 

Filters

You can use filters to clean up or retouch your photos, apply special art effects that give your image the appearance you like.You can give your photos also different look like sketch or distortions and lighting effects .
Using a smart Filters let you use filters non-destructively the same as smart objects.
Smart Filters are stored as layer effects in the Layers panel and can be readjusted at any time.

That is the original picture .

You can see the different looks with the different filters in Photo-shop with the same image. I had prepared some for that purpose.

Simple way to apply filters ?

• Open the picture in photo-shop.
• Go to Filter menu and choose convert to smart filter so all the adjustments you will apply will not be destructive to the image.[ Smart Filters, applied to Smart Objects, let you use filters non-destructively. Smart Filters are stored as layer effects in the Layers panel and can be readjusted at any time]
• After that try the filters you like and apply to your image.
• Save your work

Using The Retouching Tools (Photoshop lesson)

The retouching is easy and very important for adjusting and fixing your pictures you can 
accomplish a variety of tasks .

• To improve a composition.
• To correct distortions or flaws.
• To manipulate picture elements .
• To add or remove items, sharpen or blur, or merge multiple images into a panorama.

To fix a photo like that one up you need many tools called the retouching tools ,to remove the scars and dark dots to make it clear like the picture on the right.
I used the Spot Healing Brush Tool ,and The Healing Brush Tool.

• The Spot Healing Brush Tool  

 Its use is very easy .In the options panel choose Proximity Match, and check Sample All layers,and adjust the brush size.
You will not do any thing more .Just click on the area you want to treat .

• The Healing Brush Tool. 

It is more complicated  you need to sample the area you like then add it to the defected area .

1. In the Option bar ,adjust Source to sampled and choose from Sample what layers you like.
2. Adjust the Brush size to the size of the good area you want to sample ,or little smaller  
3. To sample the area you like just click the area you like while pressing the tab key .
4. Go to the defected area and click it  .

They are easy to manipulate and use try it now.
