Layla Mourad 

Here is a picture of an old famous Egyptian singer and actress. Her name was Layla Mourad .
Leila Mourad was born in Al Daher, Cairo on February 17, 1918 to an Egyptian of Moroccan Jewish descent father, Zaki Mourad, a respected singer and musician in the twenties, and to a Jewish mother whose family is from Poland, Gamilah "Salmon" who gave birth to Layla, Isak, Ibrahim, Malak, Mounir[ Moureac.then change his name to Moumir ] and Samihah. Her brother Mounir Mourad was an actor and composer.
Egyptian Jewish composer Dawood Hussnei, who composed the first Operetta in the Arabic language, helped her start her career .
Further success came when the prominent Egyptian composer Mohammed Abdel Wahab heard her singing and gave her a role in his film Yahia el Hob (Viva Love!) in 1938. 

In 1953, she was selected, over Umm Kulthum, as the official singer of the Egyptian revolution.


Her Marriages
Leila Mourad married Anwar Wagdi (1947–1954), a Muslim, over the objection of her father, the Jewish singer Zaki Murad. They were married and divorced three times. Leila gives the reason for her divorces as the fact that she was not fully aware of the seriousness of Wagdi's disease and hence his irritability. Later she married Waguih Abaza, and then film director Fatin Abdul Wahab and she gave birth to their son Zaki Fatin Abdul Wahab, and finally divorced in 1969.

Leila Murad died in a hospital in Cairo in 1995.

ولدت في 17 فبراير1918 بالأسكندرية لأسرة يهودية الاصل والدها هو المغني والملحن إبراهيم زكي موردخاي "زكي مراد" الذي قام بأداء أوبريت العشرة الطيبة الذي لحنه الموسيقار سيد درويش، وأمها جميلة سالومون يهودية من القاهرة من اصل بولندى 

تخرجت ليلى مراد من مدرسة راهبات نوتردام للبنات في حى الزيتون بالقاهره  

     بدأت مشوارها مع الغناء في سن أربعة عشر عاماً حيث تعلمت على يد والدها زكي مراد والملحن المعروف داود حسني، وبدأت بالغناء في الحفلات الخاصة ثم الحفلات العامة، ثم عملت بالإذاعة حيث بدأت شهرتها 

إسلامها والشائعات

كانت قد أعلنت إسلامها وتوفيت مسلمة، وبرغم مالحق بها من تهم "مغرضة" طالتها بعد ثورة يوليو وتحديداً بعد سنة 1956 بدعوى إنها تبرعت مادياً لإسرائيل وتم التحقيق معها في وقائع شهيرة وثبتت براءتها من كل مانسب إليها. إضافة إلى أنها لم تزر إسرائيل نهائيا في حياتها

وذكر ابنها زكى فطين عبد الوهاب انها لم تتمكن من أداء فريضة الحج فى أحد السنوات فقررت أن تغنى أغنية "يا رايحين للنبى الغالى" وانها كانت تحرص على تحفيظ اولادها القرآن الكريم و كانت تحضرأحد المشايخ كل يوم جمعه بعد الصلاة ليقرأ القرآن فى المنزل 

زواجها 

تزوجت أنور وجدي الذي انفصلا بالطلاق ثم تزوجت من وجيه أباظة وأنجبت منه ابنها أشرف ثم فطين عبد الوهاب الذي أنجبت منه ولدها زكي  

وفاتها 

   توفيت ليلى مراد فى القاهره فى 21 نوفمبر 1995 وكانت قد اوصت قبل وفاتها بأن يصلى على جثمانها فى مسجد السيده نفيسه بالقاهره وتدفن بالمقابر هناك

I was fond of her so I colored her photo snd I tried to give her the old make up look and colors.

HOW TO COLOR THE PICTURE?

The used tools in the photo is   Quick Selection Tool , Burn Tool , the Brush Tool .
Open the picture in Photoshop

• First of all duplicate the layer .
• Apply level adjustments for the picture [ Adjustments Panel - Levels]. Please visit My Videos section to watch the video .
• With the Quick Selection Tool select the lips ,then copy it  .Add new layer and paste the selection to it.
• Now you have the lips in separate layer select it again and fill it with the color you like.Adjust the blending mode of the layer to Darken then put the Opacity of the layer to 90%.
• Use the Burn Tool to darken the hair and eye brows .
• Add new layer and use the Brush Tool to add color for the eye lid
•  Add another layers to add the color for the skin, cheeks and backgrounds .
•  Adjust the opacity of the layers and the hardness of the brush tip to almost 50%.
• Save your work.
